Guided Tour Pilgrims to America - and the Limits of Freedom

During the guided tour through ‘Pilgrims to America – and the Limits of Freedom’, you will get acquainted with the journey the Pilgrims made 400 years ago: they started out from England and spent eleven years in voluntary exile in Leiden, before finally going on to colonise the world of the Native Americans.

In their quest for freedom, the Pilgrims crossed literal and figurative borders 400 years ago. In doing so, they increased their own freedom while, at the same time, restricting the freedom of others. During the guided tour, the group will actively be asked about the universal theme of limitless freedom.
