About Kunstroute Leiden
Kunstroute Leiden started in 1994 as a studio tour with 46 participants. It has grown into a diverse group of 165 studios, galleries, and art project organizations that open their doors free of charge for an entire weekend. This makes the Kunstroute Leiden the largest annual event for professional contemporary visual art in Leiden. From painting to photography, from textile art to installations, and from ceramics to jewelry: you’ll find it all. It is an unique opportunity for young and old alike to meet artists in person, view new work, and make purchases.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Kunstroute Leiden 2026 takes place on Saturday 26 September and Sunday 27 September
- Opening hours on both days: 11:00 until 17:00
- Admission is free
