Christa Ehrlich - Pioneer of design

Meet Christa Ehrlich in this guided tour. A hundred years ago, Ehrlich moved from Austria to Voorschoten to design pioneering modern silverware. In the years that followed, she created an entirely individual oeuvre with Viennese influences.

During this guided tour of the exhibition Christa Ehrlich - Pioneer in design you will discover everything about her extraordinary silver objects - from croquette spoon to coffee pot. Her fashion drawings, wallpaper and ceramics will also be discussed in detail. In addition, we will be focusing on the two worlds in which Christa Ehrlich worked: the creative climate in Vienna and the Zilverfabriek Voorschoten.
