Ingekleurde opticaprent met een afbeelding van de walvisvaart. Op de prent vijf zeilschepen tussen ijsschotsen. Op de voorgrond rechts twee donkere beren op een landtong. Onder de prent de titel in vier talen: "Seylen uyt het IJs", "La Navigation sur la glace", "il Veleggiare nel ghiaccio" en "Das Seeglen auf dem Eis". Boven de prent in spiegelschrift de Franse titel. Rechtboven de prent "59". Niet gesigneerd.
