Stalenboek van de Leidsche Katoen Maatschappij te Leiden, nummer I. Het boek, dat in elkaar is gezet met behulp van metalen splitpennen, bevat een lichtblauwe omslag waarop gedrukt staat "De Leidsche Katoenmaatschappij voorheen de Heyder & Co LEIDEN". Rechtsboven is een etiket geplakt waarop geschreven staat "I". Het boek bevat veertien stalen van verschillende soorten ongebleekte katoen. De stalen zijn dubbelgevouwen met een papierstrook er tussen. Iedere staal vormt één pagina en bevat een etiket waarop de soortnaam en breedte-afmeting staat.
