Witglazen medicijnfles van apotheek Du Croix. De fles is cilindervormig en eindigd in een dunne rechte hals die is afgesloten met een kurk. Op de fles is een etiket geplakt met blauwe opdruk. Het omlijnde etiket heeft gewelfde zijden. Op het etiket linksboven een gestileerd monogram van de letters "P en C" omringt door krullen. rechts ervan een banderol met het opschrift: "P. Du CROIX APOTHEKER Rapenburg 9 LEIDEN telef No 807". Onderaan het opschrift: UITWENDIG". Op het etiket staat in inkt geschreven:"Gorgeldrank Prof. Kan [?]". Op de onderzijde zijn is het cijfer 300 te zien, afgedrukt in reliëf in het glas.
