Public domain is a term used to indicate that works are no longer protected by copyright and related rights. In the EU, this is the case when the maker has been deceased for at least 70 years. In that case, there is no rightful claimant and there is no permission needed to use the work.

Prent uit de 18de eeuwse anatomische atlas die ontstond uit de samenwerking tussen de medicus Bernhard Siegfried Albinus en tekenaar/graveur Jan Wandelaar. Op de plaat een staand geraamte met spieren. De man is geplaatst voor een neushoorn. Linksboven: "B.S. ALBINI", rechtsonder een overgeschilderde tekst en linksonder: "J. Wandelaar ad ipsa corpora hominum debneavit [..]". De prent is op een karton geplakt en de randen zijn afgeplakt met zwart tape. Aan de achterzijde een ophangoogje.
