Ets op beige papier met de voorstelling van het Surinameplein te Amsterdam, in aanbouw. In het midden is het plein afgebeeld, met langs het plein huizen en bomen. Bij het plein lopen meerdere personen, met karren en een paard. Op de voorgrond is water te zien, waarin kleine bootjes liggen. Rechtsonder onder de ets gesigneerd met potlood; niet gedateerd.
