Public domain is a term used to indicate that works are no longer protected by copyright and related rights. In the EU, this is the case when the maker has been deceased for at least 70 years. In that case, there is no rightful claimant and there is no permission needed to use the work.

Op de achterzijde is onder elkaar geschreven: "70,5x188,7, houtdikte 21 à 22 mm, diep 29,5, plint 9,5 hoog en 1,5 binnen, 6 planken, schot in sponning, onderste plank 34 hoog, uit voorkant recht".
