Public domain is a term used to indicate that works are no longer protected by copyright and related rights. In the EU, this is the case when the maker has been deceased for at least 70 years. In that case, there is no rightful claimant and there is no permission needed to use the work.

Potloodtekening van een ontwerp voor salontafels met een rond blad. Links een ontwerp A, waarvan de voet van de tafel bestaat uit drie opstaande platen. En rechts een ontwerp B, waarvan de voet van de tafel bestaat uit vier opstaande platen. In het midden een extra tekening van ontwerp A. Bij de tafel type A staat: "f 70,-" en bij type B staat: "63,=". Op de achterzijde twee lichte schetsen van andere typen. Het papier is in drieën gevouwen door twee vertikale vouwen. Niet gesigneerd.
