Public domain is a term used to indicate that works are no longer protected by copyright and related rights. In the EU, this is the case when the maker has been deceased for at least 70 years. In that case, there is no rightful claimant and there is no permission needed to use the work.

Litho met de voorstelling van een vrouw: de heilige Maria. Ze is afgebeeld als halffiguur, een weinig naar links gewend en ze kijkt naar links. Ze draagt een sluier op haar hoofd, waar rechts krullend haar onder vandaan komt. Met haar linkerhand wijst ze naar het Christuskind, welke links van haar zittend en ten voeten uit is afgebeeld. Hij kijkt de beschouwer aan. In zijn linkerhand houdt hij een bloem vast. Achter de hoofden van zowel Maria als het Christuskind is een aureool te zien. Rechtsonder gesigneerd. Litho zit in een houten lijst en zit achter glas.
