Tweezijdig geslagen munt van papier. Op de voorzijde is een staande leeuw afgebeeld. Het dier heeft in zijn ene poot een ovalen schild met de Leidse sleutels en in zijn andere een zwaard. Het rondschrift luidt: "PUGNO PRO PATRIA". Op de keerzijde staat het opschrift: "LUGDUNUM BATAVORUM". Op deze zijde is ook een etiketje geplakt met een nummer: 2524.
