Frequently asked questions
Museum De Lakenhal is open
How do I book a ticket?
We recommend booking an online ticket and corresponding time slot in advance. This will avoid long lines at the box office. This is not mandatory, you can also buy a ticket at the door.
Do I need a vaccination certificate or test certificate?
In line with national measures, from 6 November 2021, we are obliged to ask for a corona ticket. This is a vaccination certificate, a negative test result or a recovery certificate, converted into a QR code in the CoronaCheck-App. Before the start of the event, you will be asked for this QR code and for proof of identification, such as a passport, identity card or driving licence. So don't forget to bring both. Unfortunately, without a valid QR code, we cannot grant access to the museum or the restaurant.
I BOUGHT AN ONLINE TICKET, BUT I CANNOT GO OR I WANT TO CHANGE MY PURCHASE.
You can always change the date and time of your visit. If you want to return your ticket, you can submit a request to do so. In both cases please contact our ticket partner Global Ticket, at +31 (0)20 244 2877, email@example.com or support page
DO I NEED TO PRINT OUT MY TICKETS?
You can either print your tickets or show them on your smartphone.
Do I have to WEAR A MOUTH MASK DURING MY VISIT?
Yes, this is mandatory.
CAN I VISIT THE MUSEUM IF I HAVE A COLD?
Unfortunately not. In line with the national measures, we will ask you to stay at home in that case. We’ll hope to welcome you as soon as you feel better.
What hygiene measures have been taken inside the museum?
We will provide additional cleaning of contact points and touch surfaces, such as door handles, toilets, taps, lockers and ATMs. Inside the museum, there are several places where you can find disinfecting hand gels. We also provide gloves. And our employees also have other protective equipment at their disposal.
CAN I PAY CASH AT THE MUSEUM?
For hygiene reasons, we ask everyone to pay with a debit card.
Is the Museumkaart valid?
The Museumkaart is valid in Museum De Lakenhal. You can also purchase the card at the ticket counter.
