Mighty glass

The collection of Museum De Lakenhal contains unique high lights of several ages of stained glass. The exhibition MIGHTY GLASS showed some of these high lights, for instance the 20th century leaded window made by Harm Kamerlingh Onnes for the 100th anniversary of the Algemeen Dagblad, a Dutch newspaper.
acquisition
Recently a 17th century rummer was add to the collection through the help of Vereniging Rembrandt. This glass, which is in great condition, has stained decorations with the symbol of Leiden in the middle.
