Public domain is a term used to indicate that works are no longer protected by copyright and related rights. In the EU, this is the case when the maker has been deceased for at least 70 years. In that case, there is no rightful claimant and there is no permission needed to use the work.

Komfoor van roodbakkend aardewerk, bedekt met loodglazuur. Het komfoor heeft een cilindrisch lichaam met een vlakke bodem op drie kleine pootjes. Net onder de mondrand loopt de wand iets in en is deze opengewerkt met vier ovale vormen. De rechte mondrand is iets hol en heeft op drie punten een kleine uitstulping. Aan weerszijden een verticaal handvat, waarvan een is afgebroken.
